The games and slots all were hitting really nice and we also were able to see 4 or 5 people win bucks at the drawings they were having.
We most likely will include this casino in our next trip plans to the Phoenix area in the future. The Arizona Casino, a sister casino to Talking Tick, is not in the same league as the latter.
The food is okay, with nothing superior. Clearly a place for the locals to hang out and gamble and dine on mediocre victuals. Visited Casino Arizona during my week stay in AZ.
The casino was crowded and not very friendly. We sat at the bar for ten minutes just waiting for service, there were only maybe 3 people sitting there.
The bartenders kept saying they would be with us in a minute yet kept talking to each other. The casino was not a generous one Talking Stick is much better.
When we travel to Scottsdale we plan our trip to arrive at the Casino Arizona for Dim Sum at their lunch buffet.
The Dim Sum station is available Monday-Friday. We start with the delicious minced shrimp and pork Won ton soup.
Then on to our favorite sticky rice with pork wrapped in grape leaves. The pot stickers are the best!!

We would go again. We have been coming to the Eagles Buffet since And I have to say they have got progressively worse since the last year and a half.
The service was attentive then. We were less able to come after we moved away, but found that the food had begun a downward spiral beginning around Recently, they renovated, so we wanted to try and see if things turned around.
Sadly to say, it's even worse than our last visit in The restaurant was only a quarter full for dinner and this tells you something.
People are not dumb: Roast beef: Dry and tough; slices cut and left on the board to change color. Worse than what I had in school cafeterias.
Not even the gravy could save it. Full of gristle. Even Golden Corral serves better steak and more flavorful for less the price. Salmon baked : Dry and overcooked.
Pork roast: Fatty and flavorless. Salad: Souper Salad has a better and wider selection. Pizza: Dough was undercooked. Tomato sauce had a chemical taste.
Even Souper Salad again has better pizza and that's not saying much. Cold cuts: They use deli meat for this, which is pretty sad.
Soups: Just one soup to choose from. Other buffets where you pay less have soups to pick from. And with not even the restaurant a quarter full, they were out of soup spoons and did not even know it.
Nobody smiling behind the serving line. So those who cook the food know the food is not good. Hot chicken wings: Not hot at all.
Fried rice: Flavorless. Broccoli and cauliflower: Tasteless. Desserts: Less variety than before. Presentation was messy with some cake slices having cream smeared all over the side.
Some slices lacking a bottom layer. Very few sugar-free items to choose from. Cheese tray: Like a selection of cheeses I'd see in a cafeteria -- american, swiss, cheddar.
Very boring. If we're supposed to combine this with the deli meat for a sandwich, where are the rolls or bread for this?
Fruit salad: Looks like they cut the fruit and it's been sitting there since yesterday. Pineapple had red smears all over them because of cut strawberries.
Technical mistake here. IF the strawberries are in good shape, why bother to slice and dice them? Some of the fruit had changed color.
And I cannot believe they used canned peaches. Even I can make a fruit salad more attractive than this. Coffee: Not bad but not hot. On the bright side, the service was good although not as attentive as we had seen it in past years.
The servers did not look happy. We saw one of the female managers take aside one server in a rather condescending way into the kitchen.
It seems like they're treated like dirt. Sooner or later that will translate into how they treat the customer. No please; No thank you. This kind of rude unprofessional attitude is certainly either poor management or poor customer service training.
What happened to the smoked salmon, olive tray, french bread? We have been to the Wandering Horse, and will favor this over Eagles any time, even though the former is more expensive.
It's simply better value. Just don't bother with Eagles until they change executive chef and the managers. What can Casino Arizona be thinking?? My wife and I went to the Eagle Buffet for her birthday, and were overall happy with the quality of the food.
The scalloped potatoes were excellent, as was the pecan chicken and creme brulee dessert. Everything else was good, but average. For The all you can eat crab legs are good, but hard to get into.
Service was excellent, and my drink was refilled often and without asking. A good place to try and see if you like it, but there are other buffets in the area that, while a bit more expensive, offer a much wider variety of food and a higher quality.4/2/ · Casino Arizona: all you can eat crab legs - See traveler reviews, 52 candid photos, and great deals for Scottsdale, AZ, at Tripadvisor.4/5(). 20/9/ · My moms birthday is coming up.
